What You Will Learn From This Session: The Inner Map: A tool to support creative problem-solving (and guide WHEN TO STOP TALKING!)

About Julia: Julia B. Colwell, PhD is a traditionally trained clinical psychologist, learning Freud’s principles and psychodynamic theory while simultaneously becoming influenced by feminist theory and the gay rights movement in the 70s and 80s. After graduate school, she was introduced to body-centered theory and suddenly woke up in a whole different world, one where the question turned from “how do I assess what is wrong in people?” to “how can I support people to feel as good as possible?”

Julie is the founder and director of the Evolutionary Power Institute in Boulder, Colorado, where she trains practitioners in her groundbreaking work in individual and couples transformation, teaches workshops, runs intensive groups, and spreads the word to as many people as she can about what the embodiment of true power looks like. She's the author of three books; The Relationship Ride: A Usable, Unusual, Transformative Guide (2012: Integrity Arts Press), The Relationship Skills Workbook: A Do-it-Yourself Guide to a Thriving Relationship (2014: Sounds True), and The Inner Map: Your Emotions to Create the World You Want (2020: Integrity Arts Press). She lives in Boulder, Colorado, with her wife of 34 years and their three adopted canines.
