What People Are Saying

...TEFOS takes a complex topic and makes it accessible and fun!

Year after year Seth gathers an incredible cadre of experts to help parents and educators understand and gain actionable strategies to support students struggling with EF challenges. The most amazing thing about TEFOS is how laser focused it is on Executive Functions and how it features presentations and interviews that shines different lights on the same topic - there is truly something for EVERYONE!

Julie Skolnick,

2e Expert, With Understanding Comes Calm

...it focused on empowering my child to lead their own learning...

TEFOS covered topics such as sensory processing, ADHD, study skills, reducing stress through self-regulation, dealing with my child’s inner critic, creating a growth mindset, how to deal with complicated or negative emotions related to learning... Additionally, it focused on empowering my child to lead their own learning, eliminating physiological problems that might interfere with learning, and SO MUCH MORE!

This weekend has been a rollercoaster...

Seth, I’m sitting here watching Mike Postma’s session and I’m crying. I'm trying to hold back the sobs. It’s not even so much the sadness of past failings for my child but overwhelming hope and relief that I have more insight to help my son going forward. After watching Jessica McCabe’s session I hugged my husband and apologized for forgetting that he has ADHD and things can be hard for him. Oh my. This weekend has been a rollercoaster. Thank you Seth - so much - for putting this together. I bought the VIP Pass and can’t wait to dive back in. :)

Learning from TEFOS makes me a better parent and teacher! Your summit really makes a positive difference for kids and families! Also, thank you for allowing free access. Last year I was able to buy the VIP Pass; but couldn't this year. It means a lot that I could participate for me and for my students! I also promoted it with gifted families at my school and my gifted teachers."  - Hope L,  mom of 2e kiddo

"Thank-you so much to you and your team for the amazing work you have done in this amazing, leave me speechless summit. It is the first Tefos I am attending, I hope not the last. "As a newcomer to your work, I just wanted to take the time to thank you and your team for all of the time, intention, planning, and dedication you gave to this 3-day experience! How could I not take the opportunity to purchase your generous package! Any ONE of the hour plus presentations would be worth the cost!! And, we have the benefit of receiving them all! I know that for me, I will continually come back to re-listen to many of the presenters. Thanks also to you, Seth, specifically, for modeling what we hope to see in the students we work with when they “grow up!” Your enthusiasm and passion for these students is unmatched and, to me, seems to come from….how can I describe it?  It’s like a deep and everlasting well of compassion, empathy, care and wisdom that is being manifested into a fountain of joy, understanding and inspiration." - Bridget

"I simply wanted to say thank you.  I found your choice of presenters worthwhile. I appreciated how you interviewed each presenter and asked them to clarify (when necessary). I am taking away a number of new ideas." - Jodi

"You have done so much for my family with the information you have provided through your videos and podcasts. I hope you realize what a gift you are to the twice-exceptional/neurodivergent community. I really cannot express my gratitude enough :)" - Theresa

"This message is in gratitude to all of the presenters, but it is especially for Seth and his amazing team. I have been following your work for several years, and I am always inspired after listening to you. I have been frantically trying to listen to all of the speakers - I know, "Take a breath!" I am choosing to purchase the summit because I know it will help my families and students. I am an SLP who has been providing service to families for >50 years, and I have no intention in stopping. It is such amazing and inspiring work! I have most recently been focusing on Resilience, and this just inspired me to go forward even more. I was so interested in the fact that many of the presenters are parents of uniquely human people. I am also the parent of an adult who has been my greatest teacher! Thanks again for all you do!" - Donna W

“I signed up and after lacking the time to really dig-in each day (and reaching mental overload quickly) happily bought the whole shebang at the reduced price. WOW. WOW. WOW. The speakers are wonderful. Having the transcripts is wonderful (I can copy and paste the salient quotes I'd like to share with my husband (who thankfully is interested and a devoted partner on this). I have a relaxed pace to dig-in to each talk and really concentrate. I cannot tell you how much help it is to have laser-focused info about EF. Getting the message that I am accomplishing more than I realize or take credit for, and that I have not broken my 13.5 year old son, is something I need to hear and take to heart every day. I am finally accepting that this long journey is something that can't be rushed. So I feel like I've really begun a good path of educating myself and being curious and non-judgmental. I also think that all of your content is helping my husband and me make really good choices about selecting a high school that deals with EF and LD. I feel empowered to do the work required to locate and secure a more comfortable  and supportive spot next year for him for 9th grade. Long story short, I want to thank you for all that you do. It really matters to us parents. It means the world to us. Having these resources is awesome. Feeling heard and not feeling alone is important. Having someone to help us focus and find answers is priceless....”

"I just wanted to reach out and let you know how much your summit meant to me.  I am a mom of a 9 year old boy who struggles with ADHD,  I am also a mom who struggles in understanding my son's struggle.  Your desire to help families and communities better understand children who struggle with executive processing is so genuine and real!!  I am crying as I write to you and I have been crying all through the summit.  Your workshop wasn't yet another set of people who condescendingly stand above you and your child and say "wow you look like you need my help".  Your workshop was filled with presenters who came from a place of real heart, who have either been in the same position as me as a mother with a struggling child or who have lived the struggle themselves.  I was most touched by mother's who had been in the same place as me and found the way to do things differently, who found strategies to continue to see the beauty in their sweet child despite the messy behavior.  The mother's who stepped into the long, courageous journey of growing to understand themselves better so that they can be truly connected to the needs of their kiddos.  The workshop has helped break my sense of shame and isolation and has given me many new resources and support networks to tap into.  I am filled with hope that I can develop a deeper and deeper connection with my son, and that an abundance of support and camaraderie are available along the path." - Laura K from California

“I took over 50 pages of notes on your TEFOS Conference. Just LOVED it.  I got up or stayed up until 3a.m. each morning when it started here AK time and watched as many as possible before resting a bit and waking up to hear the rest of the speakers for each day. Thanks for choosing VIMEO where it was so easy to listen over and over again to get down the fine details that I wanted to at the time.  I have typed up all  but the last day of  speaker notes and then I’ll continue to share those with friends and family as well.  I especially liked your two last questions for each speaker about 1.  actionable steps  and 2.  what to say to give us as parents and teachers and community members hope for positive change.  Ten percent is enough is a great start!!  Thanks for being so vulnerable and sharing your bio as well.  It will give hope to many.”

"This summit was amazing and so very helpful. As a parent, partner, and professional fully immersed in 2e issues, I learned so much from the speakers at TEFOS. I was familiar with only 4 of these speakers prior to the conference, and loved the creativity, passion, competence, and caring they all brought for our families. All of these talks were so helpful and some were downright mind-blowing." -Riah E., SLP and Parent of a 2e 6 year old, Tucson, AZ

"If you have a child struggling in any way with Executive Function issues, TEFOS is worth your time and investment!"-Heather, Homeschool mom of 6th and 8th grade girls, Alabama

"TEFOS covered topics such as: sensory processing, ADHD, study skills, reducing stress through self-regulation, dealing with your child’s inner critic, creating a growth mindset, how to deal with complicated or negative emotions related to learning, math and flexible thinking, the brain and how it relates to executive function, empowering your child to lead their own learning, innovations in biofeedback, eliminating physiological problems that might interfere with learning, and SO MUCH MORE!" -Jolene, mom to a 7th grader, CA

The All-Access-Pass gives you the ability to download the videos (or audio files) to keep. You also receive PDF transcripts and resource materials. "I just wanted to send a quick message to say the TEFOS sessions so far have been excellent.  I have learned so much.  The information is practical and actionable.  I am really enjoying the summit.Thank you so much for doing what you do." - Andrea

"The program was so helpful. After reading everything I could find for about a year and trying various approaches, I feel like we're starting to get it. Seth, when you present, it is clear how much you care and we feel heard. Thank you for making this program available. As parents we feel empowered and dedicated to practicing kindness, self-regulation/care, and patience in a new way. Your work is making a difference. Thank you." - Patty

"I found your website through a video on YouTube just before TEFOS and then quickly signed up for the summit. Thank you for gathering a diverse and wise group of people who truly care about children and everyone who is struggling with EF. I still have hours to listen to and will take that break you suggested but I’m already using some of the suggestions with my family and it is helping. I can tell you have a passion for people and I am grateful that you are using your gifts to help others." - Kelly
