What you’ll learn

Workshop 1: Why Your Child Pushes You Away When They Need You Most — and How to Rebuild the Connection That Changes Everything

  • Why children who push adults away may need calm, invitational, and emotionally safe connection rather than punishment.
  • How consent, naming feelings without fixing, and simple early repairs can help children feel understood and rebuild trust.
  • How predictable connection rituals and small, consistent acts of attunement can reduce children’s dependence on devices or peers for emotional support.

Workshop 2: Why EF Strategies Fail When Your Child Is Dysregulated

  • Why relational safety, attunement, and adult co-regulation must come before tools when a child’s executive brain is offline.
  • How personalized, consent-based collaboration and well-timed interventions help families choose strategies that fit each child.
  • How practicing calming tools during safe moments, offering sensory or quiet options, and modeling repair and humility can rebuild trust.
